

Jamie began in theatre as an actor, touring the country nationwide in the farce Women Of A Certain Age in 1998/99, also making many TV and Film appearances in the late 90s, before developing a love for management and producing. He began as an artist manager and tour booker with musical acts and comedians, successfully running clubs at The Edinburgh Festival and producing comedy galas.
In 1999, he became General Manager for Surefire Entertainments, helping to shape the careers of many rock and roll stars, and create many one-night theatre concept shows for UK touring. Shows and artists included Chas ‘n’ Dave, Joe Brown, Marty Wilde, Mark Rattray, Dream Concerts and Lanza - The Last Serenade.
In 2002, he joined Bill Kenwright Ltd. As Head of Touring, Jamie created UK and American tours, and helped manage a huge range of world famous productions, including; Blood Brothers, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Hay Fever starring Dame Judi Dench, A Few Good Men starring Rob Lowe, The Glass Menagerie (on Broadway and UK) starring Jessica Lange and Christian Slater, Festen (Broadway and UK) starring Ali McGraw, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (Broadway and UK) starring Ned Beatty and Ashley Judd, The Night Of The Iguana starring Woody Harrelson, Cabaret starring Sheila Hancock and Anna Maxwell Martin, Treats starring Billie Piper, The Last Laugh starring Martin Freeman, The Letter starring Anthony Andrews, A Man For All Seasons starring Martin Shaw, The Crucible (in partnership with the RSC and Thelma Holt) starring Iain Glen, Scrooge starring (variously) Tommy Steele, Shane Richie and Richard Chamberlain (USA tour), and many, many more...
In 2007 Jamie left and independently worked with The Menier Chocolate Factory, touring their West End production of Little Shop Of Horrors. At the same time he established his own film company partnership (JCBC Films), a comedy content provider with clients including The BBC and Verizon Mobile.
In 2008 Jamie teamed up with Paul Tyrer to run TBO Tour Booking Ltd and TBO Productions and Development. They created a strategy to produce alongside the existing management and booking work. For the next 10 years, they arranged and managed tours for many market-leading mid-to-large scale productions, including; the most famous crime thriller of all time - The Mousetrap, leading BBC TV titles (Ready Steady Cook, The Hairy Bikers, The Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular, and more), The Russian State Ballet of Siberia, Darcy Bussell's Magic Ballet, The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy - Live On Stage (original cast), Vincent & Flavia - Dance Til Dawn, The Producers, the 20th Anniversary tour of Rent, Shirley Valentine, the West End production of The Importance Of Being Earnest, and many, many more...

In 2018, Jamie was asked to join Adam Spiegel Productions as Head Of Touring, and he created tours for Motown The Musical, The Mousetrap, Once The Musical and more.
Following the enforced pandemic inactivity, in 2022, Jamie bounced back with his production of Dracula – One Man’s Search For The Truth, starring James Gaddas, a hugely successful 36 date UK tour. Through 2023 and 2024, Jamie continued to book many leading productions into UK theatre, and he developed a comedy project with Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso) for further exposure to be seen soon. Through 2025 and 2026, and beyond, there are exciting plans for further theatre tours, productions and general management opportunities.
Aside, Jamie has regularly been asked to speak on the subjects of UK theatre touring, producing and the state of the industry at many Theatrical Management Association/UK Theatre conferences, provide guest analysis for the Mercury Musical Development Company, has been a guest judge for the S&S Awards.
